You don't need to spend lots of Lindens to achieve good results.



Recently, after having been asked to do a blog for ArisAris, it has re awakened my interest in the photography side of SL again and some of the results i see on Flickr are so inspiring.
 We don't all have lots of money to spend or time to go hunting beautiful sims and a lot of us don't know how to utilise poses to work for us in places where we don't have permission to rez things, and i wanted to prove that you can still produce a stunning atmospheric picture using mostly free items, patience and mostly imagination.
Please also remember that i am by no means an expert. I have learnt things over time and from talking to people and getting tips and making mistakes and sometimes just by chance
 A while back i did buy a PoseAnywhere Hud which i have found invaluable and allows me to pose Judie or any other person(with their permission) and i have to say it is the best money i have spent on SL so far.  Admittedly this was not free and cost nearly 650L , and is not necessary , but i use it daily and have got my moneys worth out of it. A talented friend of mine actually made one for herself and our friends but i had already bought this. Its so easy to use. Just load it in world using a rezzable hud and after you have loaded your poses into the hud it is all ready to use, and when you fill one hud all you have to do is copy another (always keep an empty copy) rez on the ground and re name it and you're all ready to go. I name mine so that it is easier to find poses. Eg. Bento Poses, Model poses,Lingerie Poses, Stand Poses etc.
Apart from that i use a free pose stand sold by Strawberry Singh. I can upload my own backgrounds and i use free face lights or just play with wind-lights provided on Firestorm ( which is the viewer of my preference).
 I will make a list at the bottom of this post of all the items i use and links so that you can have a go yourself.
All the lingerie used in the pictures was bought on MP for under 10L.  Three of them are made using Judies classic body(using Slink hands and feet) not on her Maitreya mesh body because the lower priced items on MP tend to not so often be for mesh bodies.
I chose lingerie because it shows a lot of the body so you have to get the light right and it makes for good pictures and i wanted to see what i could produce even with really cheap items that are available on MP and who doesn't like a good lingerie shot!!

I have four studios set up at home all the time. Just 1LI and you can add your own background textures into contents and then it saves them and they appear on a drop down menu next time you need to change the background. It comes with 4 basic backgrounds of black, white , grey and green.

This is 649L but i use it every single day and the uses are endless. You can't use it with no copy poses, but you can load dances into it to use for photos and you can pose another person with their permission.

I bought this a long time ago. 1L$ (It's a demo). I use the free body lights that are included on many pictures.

I also use 'picasa' but i believe this is no longer available if you are on windows 10.
