I LOVE this… so obviously this means I need to re-work my kitchen so it's fitting to reality in Italy (although in reality cooking is not my forte haha). The decor on the other hand… YES!

Lauren's shop and flat… for the moment I am finished decorating the shop for Lauren located at The Whale/Sinchester. The shop is not set up to sell anything for the time being. Instead, it is set up as a studio to inspire a 100 Day Challenge - 10 minutes per day minimum for creativity or learning something new.

We are now past the big Black Friday weekend… I wanted to start with one of two bargains I found this year. (mind you, I didn't have a lot of online time, but am sure there were loads of great offers out there for avatars as well as homes and decor!)

Mystery Inventory... holiday season

It will take a bit of time for me to shop in my own inventory for Holiday Décor! … And I enjoy every second of the process...

This morning I was sure to save the process *notecard* to request temporary additional prims for décor at Bella Pointe / shopping, decorating, dressing up... what more can a girl ask for!!  As I finish, I will add details... of course. Not easy to type, post, and have real life kitties and being spoken to non stop all happening at the same time. LOL

Autumn/Halloween Home Decor - Bo 2018

This year I am keeping the decor simple, as I don’t expect many trick-or-treats. But sure I have plenty of candy treats for Bo inside the cupboards! 

Now it's better to chillax on the DJ/SF Camp bed placed on the side patio and watch the stars at night. Perhaps I will dress Bo in costume and check out some very creepy haunting hunts at a variety of sims throughout the virtual world! Let's see what I can find over the next week or two! 🎃

Sunday morning - Moving again...

Because I haven’t had much online time to play as I thought I would. I wasn’t able to complete my intended projects by deadline. My left brain is being more loud than right brain right now, so making this change (move) makes sense. My right brain is actually happy for that because I have a reason to put out my favourite cottage and create Bo’s home to reflect my own personality.

I have such joy for this process to decorate and can probably in a more relaxed way set out my autumn and Halloween décor. No self-imposed deadlines, just play for the sake of playing.

Moving… what does it entail? First I put out the bigger pieces, cottage, furniture… then outside I build a temporary prim and put out my tchotchki’s and art work. Then I can visually shop my inventory. Does it make a mess? Yes, if I have some things that are copyable – I tend to create duplicates in this process. So do I need another month or so to whittle down the inventory? Probably about a year, not one monthl LOL

Anyway, moving inworld is a helluva lot easier than in reality!

"some of our favorite things..." Examples of some Excellent shopping experiences

Judie and I were talking about some of our favorite shops, and the subject came up about WHY we have our favorite things (ie hair, article of clothing, shoes, etc) in our inventories. There are a lot of amazing designers within Second Life and sure we have not heard of some… yet! So we thought it might be kind of fun to create some pictures of our favorite outfits at the beginning of each season.

We decided to create a quarterly Post and Page for the blog to share Favorites and we shall begin with Autumn.

1.   This time I decided to share one of my favourite “hair” shops, Magika. This has been my Go-To shop for hair since I started to play on Second Life again about 2 years ago. The hair textures are dimensional and realistic, colour options are superb!,  and the style options in the shop are current and soooo nice! I can find messy-do’s and semi bedhead looks that are very realistic! I give Magika a big THUMBS UP for an excellent shopping experience inworld as well! The demos are easy, there are lovely group gifts that are updated with regularity. Marketplace 

2.   My other autumn seasonal favourite shop that I would like to give compliments to is ( kokoia ). The shoes I have purchased at ( kokoia ) are generally classic in style. There are some beautiful options for casual or formal!  The color options and textures are very well done! And the shop itself is fresh and modern.

Craftsman Project / Prepping for fall

Buona domenica! Good morning and happy coffee time!This week I'd like to share with you the cleaned up version of what was a complete visual disaster 24 hours ago! 😃This is another evolutionary decor project. This is the third cottage I put down to decorate for fall, as typically I use white cottages, but this time I wanted something a bit more warm externally. So I decided on the Trompe Loeil - Vivienne Craftsman Cottage. LOVE IT!! 💓💓💓

It was awesome to catch Till for an impromptu session as well!

Sunday morning stroll...

This morning I am visiting The Whale/Sinchester - UK based sim for a Sunday morning stroll. The weather seems a bit fickle! One moment rain, the next there is sunshine and blue skies! I grabbed a moment to have a walk before finding a quiet café for coffee. Waiting for my daughter to wake up and join me for a dog walk!
